i was reading the papers this morning, which is something damn unsual about me because i don't always read the newspaper, and there is this article which i read and found it to be interesting. besides the fact that i was reading yesterday's paper (-_-), they were talking about singaporeans not bringing their trays back to the collection point after they dine at the hawker centers.
i find it so damn true! well...i do always put back what i eat when i am in sch. and i also admit that sometimes i dunn put the tray back when i eat at kopitiams or whatsoever. but there is a reason as to why i dunn do it! as you people should know, usually when i am out, i won't have any other hands to bring the tray around, be it my bag or bagsssssssssssss. plus another reason is that i ALWAYS cannot see any tray collection points from me going into the hawker center to me going out of it.
well...i feel that you can't really blame singaporeans for being lazy as to not putting back the trays after they eat finish. half of the people aren't doing so because its either the tray collection point is too far away or its just somewhere in heaven where nobody can see it. i just feel that besides having to start a article and publish it to the whole of singapore, the people who are writting this article should think as to why the people don't want to put it back. i am dead sure that those people who wrote the article and approve it, they too do not put back their trays. such a contradiction, paradox.
instead of sitting there and whine about everything, which is something that singapore is always doing, DO SOMETHING. put more tray collection points, put counters all around so that people can leave their stuff in the tray, encourage people by giving they discounts or whatsoever. why can't they learn from the food centers that schools have? rp has like more than 3 collection points for trays in each canteen. the aircon-ed canteen already have like 4 points. and all are placed in such a order that its SOOOOO freaking convinent and easy for us to put back our trays. this is why trays left behind is such a rare sight.
just imagine if the hawker centers have more collection centers.
