well...nothing happened to me this few days. only the fact that i had finished all my papers for the prelims and is left with only the sci prac on moday. sigh. wanted to go little india but didn't go cuz of the possibility that i might be killed there cuz of the population of india there. LOL
so i guess i would talk about somethings that have been going on in my head for the past few days or even weeks. well...recently if you have been glued to the tv. you should have seen this bunch of ads for a certain website that sounds vaguely like a cup of coffee. very creative right? i must agree. but somehow...this time they had gone too far with one of the most recent ads.
its about this hunky guy selling his house. sounds simple? NOOOO!~ he is not young in particular...but what bugs me the most is the fact that he is only wearing skimpy trunks and flexing his muscles all over the tv.
OH GAWD! i swear to g*d and all the g*ds that its f*cking gross. read this. G.R.O.S.S!
i understand that catching your consumer's eyes are important in the whole ad world. but this is simply overboard. flexing your muscles in skimpy trunks just to sell your house? there was even this part where he said "see my matching pipes". i nearly threw the remote at my thousands of dollars tv... i pity the tv have to show this crap.
i might not be one of those people who covers themselves up securely...but this is really very wrong. what are you trying to sell? the previous ads are cute i must say. but this is wrong. can't he at lease wear like shorts or something? he is wearing those triangle trunks. there are children watching tv! if they don't get the whole ad...how about adults? do they think its funny? i think most of the people who are like 25 onwards must be changing channels when they see the ad cuz they are the people who have been taught that this things are not right.
don't tell me that the world is changing and stuff. this is really very wrong. so you are trying to tell people that being close to naked-ness is ok? and people all around the world should look at it and its ok? so everyone can have the right to walk around with only skimpy underwear and flexing their muscles everytime saying "see my matching pipes"?
i personally feel that they should remove the ad. i saw it and i feel myself being sick and suddenly, i felt that being a guy suddenly is just for "sexual" pleasure. degrades the whole view of being a guy. oh goodness. seriously if they don't get down the ad in a weeks time...i am so going to write to the website.
