today got off day. cuz i don't take poa. heh. so tmr is start of sch again. *groan* but somehow it is alittle better la...cuz they not going to start the focus thing tmr. they starting it next week. woohoo! so i just rot at home. LOL

well. been thinking about something again this few days.

hmmx. if you have been kinda following fashion like a dog following it's owner or you have been reading my blog alot....you would notice that i have wrote about this bag that is helping to promoting not using plastic bags. you should know righT? its like all over all the papers and all over the shoulders of women. not to mention shelves selling different versions of the bag conveying the similar message or design.

what i dunn understand is that why isn't the bag being sold to everyone who really wants to help promote the use of the bag instead of plastic bags? if you have also noticed around you...you would notice that people are using the bags more as an handbag instead of using it to fill their groceries and stuff. isn't that kinda defeating the purpose? what i really mean is that these bags are not really sold to those who really want to give their two cents worth to helping to conserve their environment.

short fact. billion and billion of plastic bags are being used and thrown away without fully utilizing it. and these plastic bags are said to take up to hundred of years to decompose. they can be used for simple things like putting your lunch inside or throwing your trash away...not to mention it can even be recycled to make bags or even clothes!

so this company pairs up with another environmental group to create this bag to help inculcate the habit of not using plastic bags that much. so they created this bag that had taken the world by storm. queues overnight...fights and riots...bags snapping up in minutes its being released. people bought many and many of them. you think the person is really loving her earth? NOOOO! she is selling them off at an inflated price of more than 10 times its retail price!

i am sure that there are the people who really wann the bag to use it for their grocery needs. however, they can't get hold of the bags because of these people who uses it as a handbag or they use it to make an extra income selling them at exorbitant rates. i can honestly say that if i would have the bag... i sure would bring it everywhere. not because it makes people see me and go "woo..it bag"...but the fact that i do shopping last minute and i can put all my stuff in that bag. i would sure bring it to grocery buying too.

my point is that if their point for this project is to inculcate the habit....than why is the bags sold limited? if they want profits...than isn't that something wrong? which is more important? money or the earth? do remember that if you don't have a proper earth...you would not even have money at all. so shouldn't they be more thankful? if its the luxury brand that doesn't want to mass produce it...than why isn't the environmental group buying over the idea and sell it to the masses? why are they even called an environmental group if they are also thinking more of the profit? thats something i dunn understand.

don't you people agree with me? its not that i am jealous that i can't get the bag...but don't you think that i have said good points to be considered?

trist.
